Summer proms spectaculars offer an evening of superb open air concerts with popular classical music and movie themes, alongside all the traditional flag-waving favourites associated with prom events, such as Rule Britannia, 1812 Overture, Jerusalem and Land of Hope & Glory.
2013 will be an excellent Summer for proms and there are various choices that include impressive fireworks displays and Spitfire flying displays.

Enjoy a day exploring a stunning stately home followed by an evening’s entertainment within its grounds. Take in the splendour of a grand home which boasts majestic surroundings, rich in heritage.
Burghley House - With more than 80 rooms and numerous halls, corridors, bathrooms and service areas, Burley House has plenty to offer.
Hatfield House - Hatfield House is the home of the 7th Marquess and Marchioness of Salisbury and their family. The Estate has been in the Cecil family for 400 years.
Althorp Park - Althorp House sits majestically amidst 550 acres of glorious walled parkland with beautifully manicured lawns and secluded lakeside retreats, with stunning views of the rolling Northamptonshire countryside.
Ragley Hall - The magnificent Ragley Hall, at the heart of the Ragley Estate, dates back to 1680 and is open to the public on select dates throughout the year for guided tours of the impressive state rooms.
When you’ve finished exploring the home, you can make your way to the grounds for a stunning show of pyrotechnics and displays followed by a superb array of classic music guaranteed to make you wave your flag, sing out loud and even waltz under the stars!
All concerts are picnic style, featuring a full piece orchestra. You are guaranteed an evening of superb popular classics and movie themes, alongside all the traditional flag-waving favourites associated with the "Last Night of the Proms", such as Rule Britannia, 1812 Overture, Jerusalem and Land Of Hope & Glory. Many of the concerts also feature an aerial display by an original WWII Spitfire, as the orchestra performs rousing music such as the Dambusters Theme (check for details on booking). And for the finale sit back and enjoy the spectacular fireworks.
You will need to book your concert and entrance tickets prior to visiting your chosen stately home. Please note, the entrance is on the day of the proms only and for most properties is self-guided. Available dates are as follows:
Burghley House, Lincolnshire 6th July 2013 (open from 11:00 to16:30)
Hatfield House, Hertfordshire 20th July 2013 (open from 12:00 to 16:00)
Althorp Park, Northamptonshire 10th August 2013 (open from 13:00 to 15:00)
Ragley Hall, Warwickshire 31st August 2013. This will be a guided tour around the house. The tours run on the hour. The house will be open from 11:00 to15:00 and tours can be booked on arrival.
